ETSI names Julien Stern as rapporteur for CAdES
Cryptolog, the French supplier of digital signature solutions, announces today that its research and development director has recently been named by ETSI (European Telecommunications Standards Institute) as rapporteur for ETSI standard TS 101 733
(CAdES).

The two existing formats, XAdES and CAdES, were designed to be compatible with the 1999 European directive on digital signatures, and are still constantly evolving in order to give end customers a guarantee of interoperability between all the various providers.
As rapporteur for CAdES, Julien Stern's main task will be to keep a constant watch for any flaws in the emerging standard and for any improvements which might be made. High quality standards are of crucial importance in the digital signature sector and their development helps to promote the deployment of these solutions.

"ETSI's choice of Julien Stern is a demonstration of the technological excellence which underlies all Cryptolog's solutions. Moreover, this new role will be a further guarantee for our users that Cryptolog's software will always be at the leading edge of the standard, and that it will offer them the best possible compatibility," states Cryptolog's marketing director, Olivier Arous.
